Assistant Professor in Biology (Biotechnology)

Summary of Duties

The Marywood University Department of Science seeks an Assistant Professor for a tenure track appointment position beginning August, 2010.

The Department of Science offers Bachelor's degrees in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Pre-Physician Assistant, Medical Technology and Secondary Education (Biology). It also offers a Master's degree in Biotechnology.

Marywood University is a comprehensive Catholic university sponsored by the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Requirements

• Educational:

  Qualified candidates will possess a doctoral degree in Biology; research, scholarship and teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching; advising; service to the University, community, and department; related program responsibilities; serving on thesis and dissertation committees; and grantsmanship.
