Hours:
20 hrs. per wk, 52 wks. per yr.
1:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Days flexible)
Extra hours required for Open House and Orientation Weekends
Some overnight travel
Responsible for (1) Travel: representing the University at Grad Fairs, Employment Fairs, etc. (2) Speaking to prospective students and their families during campus visits, (3) Record keeping, (4) Contact with students, develop and maintain a relationship with prospective students through telephone, email, and letter correspondence. (5) Department liaison with Academic departments.
Educational:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
Work Experience Requirements:
Graduate Admissions experience preferred.
Essential Elements:
Valid driver’s license required. Reliable vehicle, ability to drive long distances with some night-time driving, public speaking skills, able to lift and carry 25 pounds, computer and internet skills required.
