School of Social Work Merit Scholarships for Spring 2010

In the School of Social Work, the graduate admissions application serves as the academic merit scholarship application for prospective students. The Graduate Scholarship Committee will award renewable merit scholarships to accepted students in the School of Social Work who have demonstrated superior academic achievement in their undergraduate studies. Prospective applicants to the School of Social Work must have a complete application in the University Admissions Office with all supporting documentation by 12/15/2009 to receive consideration.

School of Social Work Need-Based Grants for Spring 2010

Prospective graduate students in the School of Social Work who will begin their studies during the Spring 2010 semester may apply for need-based grants. Prospective students who wish to receive consideration for Spring 2010 need-based aid must file a financial aid application, a 2009-2010 FAFSA, and a complete University Admissions application by 12/15/2009.

Complete the financial aid application electronically. The application itself is on a secure server. You must press "yes" if your browser asks you if you wish to display secure items, otherwise Marywood University will not receive any of the information you type on the application upon submission. International students are not eligible for need-based financial aid from the School of Social Work Financial Aid Program.

Complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The 2009-2010 FAFSA must document financial need for these financial aid awards. The 2009-2010 FAFSA may be completed electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Part-time students in School of Social Work who receive graduate financial aid must be enrolled for at least 6 credits in both the Spring 2010 semester and the Summer 2010 semester.
