What is turnitin.com?

Turnitin.com is a plagiarism detection service available to the faculty at Marywood University. Students submit their papers electronically, and then Turnitin compares the content of those papers to over a billion other papers and documents. Whenever similarities between a student's paper and an existing document are found, Turnitin highlights those similarities, providing the instructor with an annotated document showing both the student's paper and the original source.

Requesting Account Information

Faculty who wish to set up a Turnitin.com account can request an account ID and password by contacting geng@maryu.marywood.edu.

To access turnitin.com, point your Web browser to http://www.turnitin.com/

The online training sessions are offered twice per day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Go to Turnitin 2010 Daily Online Training Schedule.

To join the online meeting
