Marywood Night with Dinner and Theater

A dark comedy set in the 1960's - Geri and Bev are backyard buddies. The focus of the friendship is a mutual fixation on Geri's unusual and intriguing next door neighbor. Curiosity eventually drives Bev to enlist her son, Benny, as a spy. The young man finds the assignment distasteful, and Geri begins to see how she has used the neighbor as a distraction from the tedious contours of her own life. Outrageously funny, the play will also touch audiences where it hurts!

Winner of the prestigious Jerry Kaufman Award for Best Play of 2009!  Directed by David Zarko, Featuring Scranton Natives Maura Malloy, Jerry Durkin, and New York based actors Jennifer Terrell and Samuel Adams

Easter Nut Roll & Cream Cheese Roll Sale

The Support Staff Hospitality Committee would like to announce our Nut Roll & Cream Cheese Roll Sale for the Easter Holiday Season.  Proceeds from the Easter Bake Sale benefit special events hosted by the Hospitality Committee throughout the year.

Orders may be placed through March 19, 2010 with any member of the Hospitality Committee. Any questions or to obtain an order form, please contact Karen Osborne at klosborne@maryu.marywood.edu, or call ext 6269.

A variety of filled rolls are offered: walnut, poppy seed, raspberry coconut, prune, and apricot as well as a variety of cream cheese rolls: pumpkin, carrot, banana and chocolate peanut butter. All baked goods are supplied through Osborne Specialties.

Orders may be picked up on Wednesday, March 31st in the McGowan Building, Faculty Lounge from 8:00am-10:00am.

Luck O' The Irish 50/50 Drawing

Tickets can be purchased 3 for $1 OR 20 tickets for $5.  Tickets will be sold outside of the Main Dining Hall located in the Nazareth Building on 3/11, 3/12, & 3/15, 3/16 and 3/17.  The winner will be drawn on St. Patricks Day 3/17/10 and will get half of the money in the pool.  Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit special events hosted by the Hospitality Committee throughout the year.
